Steve Clark brings over 20 years of professional experience to Motto25. In 1988 he began a successful six-year career as an Account Manager in the music business with CD One Stop, the first music distributor to specialize in compact discs. After building a homegrown point of sale system using FileMaker Pro for his independent music representative business, he landed in the technology business as a Lotus Notes developer.
With the Internet emerging in the mid 90s, Clark became the Managing Editor of Boardwatch Magazine, a technical trade publication for Internet service providers with an international distribution of 25,000. In 1998, he created Ice Times, an early user-generated content site for recreational hockey players, again using FileMaker Pro.
Returning to corporate America with an economics degree, Clark managed a team of technical writers for a quality management team at a major telecom company. This led to ISO-9000, TQM and Six Sigma positions, improving efficiency and processes as a consultant at many companies in the Denver metro area.
In recent years, he has been heavily involved in human factors engineering, information architecture, business analysis, and especially search engine optimization.
